Minor Forest Produce (MFP) – Prelims basics
• Meaning: Non-timber forest products such as tendu leaves, bamboo, mahua flowers, gums, resins, medicinal plants, etc.
• Importance: Major livelihood source for Scheduled Tribes and forest-dependent communities.
