The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare revised the Anaemia Mukt Bharat guidelines to strengthen early detection, treatment, nutrition counselling and digital monitoring of anaemia.

Revised Guidelines

New Beneficiary Group

  • Low Birth Weight infants aged 0–6 months.

T3 to T4 Strategy

Earlier strategy was T3.

Now it has been expanded to T4:

  • Protocol-based treatment.

  • Nutrition and dietary counselling.

  • Digital follow-up and beneficiary monitoring.

  • Iron-rich diversified diets.
