• Only 4 records so far → extremely rare.
• Named after Steve Irwin.
• Published in Evolutionary Systematics.
• Features: Distinct morphological traits.

2. Great Nicobar Crake (Rallina sp.)
• Potential new bird species.
• Photographed 3 times in 12 years.
• Published in Indian Birds.
• Very little known: biology, distribution, population.
• Distinct morphology with several “novel features”.
