Poshan Tracker App : Overview
- A mobile-based digital platform launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on 1 March 2021.
- Developed by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
- Designed to monitor the functioning of Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).
- Serves as a management, monitoring, and supervision tool to strengthen nutrition service delivery.
Purpose and Objectives
- Provide a 360-degree view of Anganwadi operations and beneficiary services.
- Enable real-time data capture for children (0–6 years), pregnant women, and lactating mothers.
- Improve delivery of services such as supplementary nutrition, growth monitoring, health check-ups, and home visits.
- Enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in implementation of Poshan Abhiyaan.

- Direct entry of beneficiary details, attendance, and nutrition supply distribution by Anganwadi Workers.
- Real-time updates on nutrition indicators and service coverage.
- Digital recordkeeping of anthropometric measurements (height, weight, MUAC).
- Dashboards for supervisors and administrators for monitoring and decision-making.
- Restricted access for authorised users to ensure data integrity and privacy.
Linkage With Poshan Abhiyaan
- Acts as the technology backbone of the Poshan Abhiyaan.

- Enables convergence among ministries by providing standardised data for programme planning.
