Context: CAMPA Wildlife Conservation Projects
The National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority approved ₹3,000 crore for 2025–30 for conservation of four species:
- Ganges River Dolphin
- Snow Leopard
- Greater One-horned Rhinoceros
- Wild Water Buffalo
The focus will be on habitat restoration and species recovery.
